{"id":2934,"date":"2021-11-24T10:15:00","date_gmt":"2021-11-24T03:15:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/arikuncoro.xyz\/blog\/?p=2934"},"modified":"2021-12-02T11:06:06","modified_gmt":"2021-12-02T04:06:06","slug":"5-solusi-atasi-overfitting-dalam-modeling","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/arikuncoro.xyz\/blog\/data-science\/5-solusi-atasi-overfitting-dalam-modeling\/","title":{"rendered":"5 Solusi Atasi Overfitting dalam Modeling"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>225<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oleh: Bernardus Ari Kuncoro<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dalam machine learning, overfitting itu problem yang biasa terjadi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apa itu Overfitting?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Singkatnya, <em>overfitting<\/em> itu terjadi ketika model belajar dari data training dengan hafalan saja, tetapi tidak memiliki pemahaman menyeluruh terhadap proses learning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bagaimana cara mendeteksinya? <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cara mendeteksi overfitting adalah dengan membandingkan akurasi pada data training dan data testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jika akurasi sangat tinggi pada data training, sementara akurasi sangat rendah pada data testing, bisa dipastikan model kamu overfitting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Apa saja solusinya?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Beberapa hal yang bisa dilakukan adalah sebagai berikut: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>Sederhanakan model. Mau nggak mau, proses training mesti diulangi dengan model yang lebih sederhana. Misal Linear Regression, terlebih jika prediktor &#8211; result memang linear.<\/li><li>Regularization against overfitting. Jika performa model yang sederhana sama dengan model yang lebih kompleks, pilih yang model sederhana saja.<\/li><li>Lakukan Data augmentation untuk data tabular, seperti SMOTE.<\/li><li>Hyperparameter tuning + Cross validation<\/li><li>Pakai ensemble models seperti Random Forest, ya meskipun tidak selalu sih.
